CrossClimateâ„¢ Performance Fabric
Conventional fabric is made of yarn woven into rolls of cloth. Typical waterproof fabric is made by bonding a polyurethane or PVC coat onto an existing fabric by 'filling up' the gaps between the weaves. While this method of coating results in an impermeable material, this often increases its weight and leaves a rubbery and unnatural surface texture. CrossClimate™ is manufactured with gaps between weaves that are smaller than water molecules, but bigger than air molecules. The benefit? First of all, this is great for people who travels a lot but the problem is it doesn't come in different colors. The orange is a little too loud for me, so I chose the grey stripe. Written by Howie, USA Makes sense for people who already has a case on the iPad I wanted more protection as I was using a TPU case from Funan centre. The iPad is easy to bring around and I think the convertible kind of cases are too bulky and the front cover sort of makes it very thick when I fold it back. So I decided to get an open face TPU cover. Having a sleeve makes sense, cos I can have the benefits of the slim iPad, and still have decent protection when bringing it around. I read on a forum somewhere that shinnorie is giving an intro offer that gives $10 off which was great! So I quickly ordered one online. Too bad there are no customization options.
